My all time favorite horror game must be Haunting Ground. It's terrifying, pretty well made and with an interesting story. I'd watch my cousin play it a lot when I was younger, hiding behind the blanket and almost panicking more than her (who was actually playing the game).
It has puzzle solving, evasive gameplay and shitloads of tension. If you love horror games and own a PS2, DON'T YOU DARE HESITATE!
