There was a hunter in the woods, who, after a long day hunting, was
in the middle of an immense forest. It was getting dark, and having lost
his bearings, he decided to head in one direction until he was clear of
the increasingly oppressive foliage. After what seemed like hours, he
came across a cabin in a small clearing. Realizing how dark it had
grown, he decided to see if he could stay there for the night. He
approached, and found the door ajar. Nobody was inside. The hunter
flopped down on the single bed, deciding to explain himself to the owner
in the morning.
As he looked around the inside of the cabin, he was surprised to
see the walls adorned by several portraits, all painted in incredible
detail. Without exception, they appeared to be staring down at him,
their features twisted into looks of hatred and malice. Staring back, he
grew increasingly uncomfortable. Making a concerted effort to ignore
the many hateful faces, he turned to face the wall, and exhausted, he
fell into a restless sleep.
The next morning, the hunter awoke—he turned, blinking in
unexpected sunlight. Looking up, he discovered that the cabin had no
portraits, only windows.
I've always had a strange interest in torture devices. It gives me the creeps and makes me shudder, but somehow intrigues me. Here are the 25 most brutal torture techniques ever used!
My all time favorite horror game must be Haunting Ground. It's terrifying, pretty well made and with an interesting story. I'd watch my cousin play it a lot when I was younger, hiding behind the blanket and almost panicking more than her (who was actually playing the game). It has puzzle solving, evasive gameplay and shitloads of tension. If you love horror games and own a PS2, DON'T YOU DARE HESITATE! Here is a playthrough made by Cryaotic, one of my favorite youtubers! ^
So here is one of my favorite scary/ghost stories. I'm not sure why, but it is so creepy! Enjoy!
Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in a village. He lived alone
in a little cottage and worked in the local mine. Every morning, he
went up, had breakfast, read the newspaper, brushed his teeth and went
to work. He always went the same way. When he quit work, he always went
the same way back and had a few beers with his mates at the local pub.
This was his life in general and he was quite happy with it.
One day, he decided he would take a detour when he went to his work in
the morning, so therefore, he got up a bit earlier than usual to have
time to observe the area around him. This happened, as he went and went
and after a while he reached a forest, and inside the forest there was a
beautiful house. He walked towards the house and thought he would find
out who lived there, but no matter how many times he knocked on the
door, noone opened. But he was terribly curious, so he peeked through
the keyhole. There he saw an incredibly beautiful ballerina that was
dancing beautifully, so beautifully. He stood there for a very long time
and just watched as she jumped and spinned around. It was the most
beautiful thing he'd ever seen. He was forced to hurry to the mine, but
after he'd finish job, he thought, he'd go there again just to watch the
dancing ballerina.
And as told, he went back to the house and peeked through the keyhole
once again... But the ballerina wasn't there. All he could see was a red
light. His whole field of vision was covered by a bloodred color. He
thought it was strange but came to the conclusion that he couldn't do
anything about it. So he went to the pub and had a few beers with his
mates and told them the whole story about the beautiful ballerina.
Then, one of his friends looked at him and said:
"Haven't you heard of the ballerina with the red eyes?"
Greetings, and cheers to you for finding my blog! I'm going to start off with something that at least terrified me six months ago. I've watched, read and dreamt a lot of horror in my days, but this somehow got to me. It really shouldn't be scary, but I slept with the lights on for many nights after watching it. Enjoy!
